The Fuente del Peregrino functions thanks to the volunteers hosts who choose to give their time to make themselves available to pilgrims who pass through the house. Each year we receive volunteers not only from Spain, but also from all around the world. They come to serve selflessly.
Would you like to be a host?
Serving as a host in our albergue, youâll learn to live with people from many cultures; youâll share experiences; youâll listen to interesting stories and youâll share the Way of God with others.
The activities in the house have been chosen as a tangible expression of the mission and values of âThe Fuenteâ
In general terms we have four areas of service:
- Attending to the Pilgrims
- Cooking for the volunteers
- Bedrooms
- Cleaning
The hostel can sleep 11 pilgrims, but with the service and the way we attend to pilgrims in the morning, we need a team of 8-10 volunteers.
