A CHALLENGE

We’re now very near to the Jacobean year, or holy year as they say on the Camino. In 2021 about 400,000 people from all around the world are expected to walk this ancient route.

Our goal is to open all year round, mobilizing more than 500 volunteers to show God’s unconditional love through acts of service and hospitality on the Camino .

 

A REALITY

The Pilgrim’s Fountain currently has a manual van (stick shift) which complicates things for many of the volunteers from other countries.

Sadly, the clutch on this van has burnt out three times leading to unnecessary costs to say nothing of the time it takes for the mechanics to repare it.

The van is very important since it serves to transport the teams throughout the year, for shopping for household supplies, attending to the pilgrims as needed, transporting materials, and promotion of the ministry in different towns. Above all, it´s available for the teams to use.

 

A NEED

We need an automatic van in order for the volunteers to be able to drive it without any problems.

 

So far we have 87% of the total needed to buy a van
