A CHALLENGE

These next two years will be back-to-back Xacobean years and we expect around 400,000 people from all over the world to come and do this millennial camino.

Our goal is that during this important time, as we are able to be open, we can mobilize volunteers who are willing/desirous to continue showing God’s unconditional love through service and hospitality along the camino.

 

A REALITY

La Fuente del Peregrino has always operated by donations and the invaluable collaboration of volunteers who, each year, financially cover their food and stay in order to serve God’s kingdom. This, in addition to the small amount of donations we receive from pilgrims, has allowed us to cover our basic needs and open our doors, all these years and every year, to serve the pilgrims.

 

A NEED

In the year 2020, due to the pandemic, volunteers were not able to come and help us. Therefore, we received no income from the volunteers nor from the pilgrims which normally would have covered the basic operational expenses of “La Fuente del Peregrino”.

 

A DREAM

We don’t know what will happen in 2021, but we would like to continue with the dream and the mission of the camino! We would like to encourage you to seek the Lord in prayer with us so that, together, we can see La Fuente del Peregrino remain open, no matter what the circumstances.

 

OTHER NEEDS

  • Monthly support
  • 120,00€   =  Help a volunteer to cover their stay
  • 450,00€   =  Ventilation for the kitchen
  • 1.200€      =  New gas stove (semi-industrial)
  • 1.500€      =  Entrance gate to the yard
  • 2.500€      =  Field fencing
